Engineered Scheme
Inspired by the steep cliff and the rough terrains, I have redesigned Castle Cove to have an art gallery close to the existing pathway, rest stops along the new path, and multiple observation decks at the altitudes of 40.5 meters and 54.5 meters.
Natural materials like timber is used to create a design with a neutral colour scheme to suit the rough terrains.
The pathway leading down towards the ocean has a vegetation area, with a roundabout path around it.

Topography Scheme
In the Topography Scheme, I have designed a winding sepentine path down towards the ocean. This will lead to one of the highest point of the site.
At one of the highest point of the site, with an altitude of 54.5 meters, there is an open-air observation deck with a sheltered rest area behind it. This observation deck provides a lookout to the ocean.
At a lookput point, with a lower altitude of 40.5 meters, has an raised platform that provides people with a higher ground to view without any obstructions.
